About Sky Miller
Sky is a competitive fencer at the collegiate, national, and international level.
Sky was born and raised in Durham, North Carolina. She attended Emerson Waldorf School from Kindergarten until 8th grade. She attended Durham School of the Arts where she excelled academically. In addition to taking multiple advanced placement classes, she was a member of the National Honor Society.
Sky graduated with several academic honors including as a North Carolina Scholar and Tri-M Scholar.
Sky is attends Northwestern University and is majoring in Chemistry. She is also a member of Northwestern’s Fencing Team.
Fencing
Sky started fencing when she was 10 years old. Her father, Paul, who ran track at MIT, felt that was the best sport for Sky based on her interests and abilities. Sky has competed in several tournaments all around the world. She is ranked nationally and internationally.
